Leave your comfort zone and welcome change

Regardless of your reason for choosing to self-coach, you need to be prepared to step outside the zone of comfort that is currently housing you.  Many people do not choose to better their life because they are use to life being the way that it is, whether they are happy or not and prefer staying put than having to challenge the status quo. 

If you desire change you also need to be prepared to do what it takes to make that change happen and it’s usually at this point that your comfort zone will be challenged.  Moving your business to the next level, hitting your goals, starting a new relationship, can all ignite a sense of fear within us, even if what we feel scared about is not real and is just an idea in our head. 

Start with the willingness to accept change as part of the journey, knowing that it may be uncomfortable at times, however once you are able to push through your comfort zone, over time it will expand to encompass the new level you have achieved.
